Financial Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leaders across Finance, Accounting, Product, Operations, and various other business units.

• Assist in annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.

• Create and sustain driver-based financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases.

• Generate regular financial reports, conduct variance analyses, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Aid in forecasting revenue and operating expenses by analyzing business drivers, trends, and assumptions.

• Collaborate with Accounting and cross-functional teams to enhance forecast accuracy, reporting quality, and financial transparency.

• Examine financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.

• Propel process enhancements, reporting automation, and analytics pertaining to project cost modeling.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements.

• Acquire knowledge of accounting and finance within a SaaS and recurring-revenue environment.

• Utilize approved AI tools responsibly to enhance analysis, reporting efficiency, and productivity while safeguarding confidential information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.

• Strong financial modeling capabilities and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Ability to link financial outcomes to business performance, operational drivers, and recurring-revenue dynamics.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including effective communication with leadership.

• Proficient in data analysis, reporting, ERP/financial systems, and analytics/dashboarding tools.

• Competence in using approved AI tools correctly while ensuring the protection of sensitive data and adherence to company policies.

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, or corporate accounting.

• Experience in supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and business decision support.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the US.

• Advanced qualifications such as MBA, CPA, or CMA are preferred but not mandatory.
