Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of key components in the monthly Network COGS closing process.

• Create executive reporting packages utilized in Akamai's CFO Reviews.

• Analyze trends in daily network traffic.

• Perform variance, run-rate, and ROI analyses that connect operational metrics with financial results.

• Generate weekly COGS forecasts and monitor burn rates.

• Assist in enhancing financial models related to capital investments, server capacity growth, and asset lifecycle initiatives.

• Work collaboratively with Sales Finance, Accounting, and Engineering Leadership to ensure alignment of traffic projections with revenue and cost expectations.

• Implement improvements in reporting workflows.

• Provide specialized financial analyses to support strategic business decisions.

• Serve as a link between technical network operations and corporate finance strategy.

• Produce actionable reporting and analyze key drivers of network performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.

• 2-3+ years of practical experience in financial analysis, management reporting, or corporate finance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Hands-on experience in financial modeling, manipulating large datasets, and creating presentations in PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical curiosity and problem-solving abilities to link complex technical network factors with financial results.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Comfortable collaborating with virtual, cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to learn about Akamai's cloud and edge infrastructure.
