Financial Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete financial reporting cycle for various European legal entities.

• Generate monthly financial statements.

• Manage revenue and regulatory filings in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory obligations.

• Oversee outsourced payroll providers, as well as local payroll and employer tax reporting on a monthly basis.

• Coordinate global transfer pricing and prepare annual country-specific transfer pricing documentation with external partners.

• Supply data for multi-currency working-capital needs on a weekly, monthly, and forecast basis.

• Prepare and analyze trial balances and financial statements.

• Execute detailed reviews of trial balances.

• Meet monthly reporting obligations.

• Conduct budget-to-actual analyses.

• Assist with audit requirements and corporation tax matters while collaborating with team leads.

• Support various ad hoc projects alongside the broader Accounting team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Workday or comparable ERP software is a plus.

• Strong MS Excel capabilities, including proficiency in pivot tables and extensive knowledge of formulas.

• Understanding and application of EU VAT regulations and reporting.

• Accounting qualification; either newly qualified or with 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.

• Capacity to work effectively within an international remote team.

• Qualified Accountant.

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts roles/functions.

• Knowledge of transfer pricing.

• Initiative and proactive approach to work.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
