Finance Supervisor

📋 Description

• Process supplier invoices, manage weekly payment cycles, and address queries effectively.

• Generate customer invoices, allocate payments, and issue financial statements.

• Conduct regular reconciliations for both suppliers and customers.

• Maintain precise records within QuickBooks.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures and various finance projects as needed.

• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers accordingly.

• Process 50–100 supplier invoices weekly, with seasonal fluctuations.

• Ensure all records are accurate, compliant, and consistently updated.

• Provide daily supervision and support to staff when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a comparable bookkeeping position.

• Recent experience in a supervisory or management role.

• Bookkeeping qualification, such as AAT or QBE.

• Experience assisting with annual external audits and communicating with auditors.

• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliation processes.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and credit control procedures.

• Proficient in online accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage.

• Good working knowledge of Excel.

• Confident communicator with both suppliers and customers.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing your workload independently.

• Must have prior experience working from home.
