This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Create P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and management reports.
• Evaluate actual performance against budgets and forecasts, communicating variances to leadership.
• Direct the annual budgeting process and continuous forecasting activities.
• Formulate forecasts for revenue, expenses, headcount, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with department leaders on their budgets and ensure cost accountability.
• Construct financial models to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
• Maintain both short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and payment cycles.
• Enhance working capital and cash management practices.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and overall profitability.
• Identify opportunities for spending reductions and financial efficiency improvements.
• Assess vendor costs, operating expenses, and major investments.
• Streamline accounting and finance workflows, controls, documentation, and SOPs.
• Automate repetitive financial and reporting tasks.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners.
• Create dashboards and recurring reports for revenue, expenses, margins, cash flow, and other KPIs.
• Monitor departmental performance against financial targets and budgets.
• Provide financial analysis for initiatives, hiring decisions, investments, and operational changes.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, presenting recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a finance management or senior finance role is preferred.
• Experience in an agency, professional services, BPO, shared services, or a high-growth company is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications are a plus, although not mandatory.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities are essential.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets are necessary.
• Comprehensive understanding of P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting is required.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience in building financial dashboards or utilizing BI tools is an added advantage.
• Ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance teams effectively.
