Finance Evangelist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as the representative voice of Velixo within the mid-market finance sector.

• Cultivate a genuine audience of controllers, FP&A leaders, and CFOs through our owned platforms and relevant industry spaces.

• Educate on financial principles rather than just product features by creating webinars and tutorials.

• Illustrate exemplary practices by developing practical examples that address real financial challenges.

• Act as Velixo's ambassador at trade shows and industry conferences.

• Monitor trends in finance and offer valuable insights for product positioning and strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or ERP, gaining credibility from holding a controller's position.

• Profound, hands-on expertise in Excel, financial modeling, and reporting.

• Familiarity with mid-market challenges, including multi-entity consolidation, preferably in nonprofit or fund reporting.

• Exceptional speaker and writer, comfortable in front of large audiences and on camera.

• Proven experience in creating content in video, webinar, and written formats.

• Knowledge of Sage Intacct, Acumatica, or Business Central is a significant advantage.
