📋 Description

• Operating under general oversight and adhering to established practices, policies, and guidelines, this role offers patient relations support to Patient Financial Services.

• Responsible for identifying, analyzing, resolving, and addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and issues.

• Follow up on accounts to guarantee payment and resolution.

• Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong customer service skills.

• Possess robust analytical and prioritization skills with the capacity to understand, interpret, and clarify payor contracts as well as CSMC billing and collections policies and practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• An Associate degree in business administration or a related field, or college-level coursework in finance, business, or health insurance is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in hospital billing or professional billing and/or collections, along with customer service and call center experience, is required.
