Films Process Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and transfer thin film deposition techniques for EUV-enabled DRAM technology.

• Oversee process characterization, troubleshooting, and defect mitigation through VME.

• Propel thin film roadmap initiatives in alignment with upcoming technology nodes.

• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to advance equipment, chemistries, and process solutions.

• Examine extensive physical and electrical datasets and convey clear recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or MS with over 4 years of experience in semiconductor materials or process development.

• Strong background in materials science, chemical reaction engineering, and thin film physics.

• Practical experience with patterning films, including photoresist, hard masks, and spacers.

• Familiarity with ALD, CVD, PECVD, PE-ALD, and/or LPCVD processes.

• Understanding of SPC and process maturity for manufacturable technologies.
