Film Director – Showrunner, AI-Tech Approach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Showrunning & Vision: Spearhead the narrative strategy and ensure a consistent "look and feel" throughout an entire short drama series.

• Directorial Leadership: Utilize your expertise in lighting, composition, and performance to enhance AI outputs, ensuring they reflect the quality expected from high-end television.

• Creative Asset Management: Leverage AI-assisted tools to create storyboards, shot lists, and backplates that are in line with your directorial vision.

• Technical Execution: Take personal responsibility for the final "director’s cut." Although support will be available, you should be comfortable engaging directly with generation, assembly, and refinement processes.

• VFX & Polish: Supervise (and execute) the refinement of AI artifacts to guarantee visual consistency and a flawless cinematic experience.

• Ethical Oversight: Ensure that all content adheres to brand guidelines and respects intellectual property standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional Directing Background: Demonstrated experience as a Film Director or Showrunner with a portfolio that showcases a comprehensive understanding of "the language of film."

• Cinematic Mastery: Possess an expert-level comprehension of film theory, pacing, and the ability to evoke human emotion through the lens.

• Tech-Savvy Mindset: You should have a foundational understanding of AI tools (such as Midjourney, Runway, or Luma) and a strong desire to learn more. You are not deterred by new interfaces or evolving workflows.

• NLE Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid.

• Post-Production Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in After Effects or similar tools for masking, compositing, and "fixing it in post."

• Adaptability: The capacity to devise creative solutions for the current limitations of AI technology.

• Bonus Skills: Familiarity with AI audio/music tools (e.g., ElevenLabs, Udio, Suno). A "hacker" mentality—someone enthusiastic about testing new tools as soon as they are released.
