This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Conduct tests on all equipment following termination to verify proper system performance.
• Carry out work in accordance with Northland Controls’ Safety Manual, consistently prioritizing the safety of oneself and others.
• Accurately complete and maintain documentation, such as vehicle logs, timecards, and field service requests.
• Communicate project status, delays, and evolving requirements to the Lead Technician or Project Manager.
• Keep daily logs detailing customer requests, work performed, job numbers, dates, times, and assigned tasks.
• Follow company procedures, systems, and installation methodologies.
• Ensure that work is completed within the estimated timeframes for each project phase (e.g., wire pulling, mounting, installation).
• Assist in system startup activities alongside the Lead Technician to guarantee full system functionality.
• Work in collaboration with the Lead Technician and Project Manager to facilitate successful project closeout and handover to clients and service teams.
• May provide mentorship to Installers and other Technicians on project sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
• Vocational or technical school training is strongly preferred; on-the-job training may be available.
• Preferably 3–4 years of relevant experience (minimum of 2 years will be considered).
• Prior experience in security systems installation (Access Control/CCTV) is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and field operations.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans.
• Field-based position requiring work at customer locations.
• May involve physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and prolonged periods of standing.
