This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Utilize diagnostic techniques to identify necessary repairs both over the phone and on-site.
• Communicate diagnoses and required repairs to individuals without mechanical backgrounds.
• Strategically plan and oversee repairs and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Accurately complete various service documentation within the designated time frame.
• Procure parts essential for the repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Adhere to procedures for warranty work and parts reimbursement.
• Advocate for Manulift values with current and prospective clients.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Diploma in mechanics (heavy equipment).
• Over 2 years of experience as a road technician or as a mechanic for heavy-duty or construction equipment.
• In-depth understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and electronics.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
• $1000 allocated for tool purchases.
• Work schedule from Monday to Friday during the day or from Monday to Thursday evening ($3 premium for evening shifts).
