This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
β’ Act as the main technical resource for customer equipment and operational challenges
β’ Diagnose issues with flow control equipment and determine the root causes of performance problems
β’ Perform on-site evaluations and regular customer visits to assess equipment status and operational practices
β’ Formulate suggestions to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and safety
β’ Evaluate customer storage methods for refractory materials and spare components
β’ Assist with the installation, startup, and commissioning of flow control systems and associated equipment
β’ Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to design and implement customer trials and project rollouts
β’ Oversee new equipment installations to guarantee effective startup and operational readiness
β’ Organize technical support efforts and provide guidance during critical project phases
β’ Provide technical training on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols
β’ Cultivate customer relationships through proactive communication and technical advisory
β’ Aid customers in maximizing the value, efficiency, and lifespan of installed equipment
β’ Work together with Engineering, R&D, Quality, and Product Management teams on product enhancements and new product initiatives
β’ Share field feedback and customer insights for equipment innovation and performance improvements
β’ Mentor and assist less experienced technical service team members as required
β’ Travel frequently to customer locations across North America for installations, commissioning, equipment assessments, training, and ongoing technical support
β’ High school diploma or equivalent with technical training in mechanical maintenance or a similar field
β’ Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting capabilities
β’ Exceptional communication and customer service abilities
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
β’ Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites throughout North America
β’ Capability to work safely in industrial manufacturing settings
β’ Preferred: Experience supporting industrial equipment in steel manufacturing, metals, refractory, or other heavy industrial sectors
β’ Preferred: Background in commissioning, field service, maintenance, or technical support roles
β’ Preferred: Understanding of steel mill operations and production processes
β’ Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
β’ Preferred: Experience collaborating across engineering, quality, operations, and commercial teams
