This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise the installation of Daikin HVAC products to guarantee proper setup and effective operation.
• Conduct and assess Manual J and D reports to ensure the adequacy of HVAC system designs.
• Offer technical support through phone, XOi, and email to field staff and contractors.
• Address field issues concerning system design, installation difficulties, or product functionality.
• Provide on-site technical assistance as necessary.
• Prepare comprehensive field service reports that document relevant information and solutions.
• Configure and commission control systems, which include refrigerant charging, equipment addressing, operational adjustments, and field setup.
• Lead training sessions focused on proper installation methods, system commissioning, control configuration, and troubleshooting for distributors and dealers.
• Gather and analyze system performance data utilizing Daikin’s proprietary diagnostic tools, and provide solution-oriented feedback to customers.
• Instruct customers on system operation, maintenance, and control scheduling.
• May participate in direct installation, service, or support of Daikin systems as needed.
• At least 5 years of practical installation and technical service experience in the HVAC sector.
• A preference for 10 years of installation experience.
• An Associate’s degree is highly preferred.
• Preferred industry certifications include EPA/RSES, NATE, Title 24 expertise, or a California contractor license.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
