This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a technical authority providing support to global clients and distributors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with CNC cutting systems, plasma cutting machinery, oxy-fuel systems, and motion control equipment.
• Travel to customer locations to install, commission, repair, and enhance automated cutting systems.
• Identify and resolve problems related to CNC software, HMIs, drives, motors, gantry systems, height control, and gas delivery systems.
• Conduct technical training sessions in the field focused on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to foster reliability and performance enhancements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing accuracy, consumable lifespan, and overall efficiency.
• Make service decisions that prioritize customer satisfaction to maintain robust relationships.
• Mentor and provide guidance to service technicians.
• Engage in a rotating schedule for after-hours support.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Preferred experience with industrial automation, CNC systems, or thermal cutting technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Capability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with PLCs, drives, or HMIs is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Bilingual skills are highly preferred.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel as required.
