Field Specialist – Northland

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Oversee and repair Halter’s on-farm hardware systems

• Identify hardware problems and relay information to appropriate teams

• Upgrade and maintain existing infrastructure

• Deliver towers and collars as necessary

• Offer on-site assistance during farm implementations and resolve installation challenges

• Engage in the global on-call schedule for tower-related emergencies

• Work collaboratively with hardware, product, customer success, and other Halter departments

• Address technical difficulties promptly to reduce disruption in farm operations

• Gather, analyze, and interpret hardware data

• Enhance processes and derive actionable insights to boost operational efficiency

• Create and oversee a maintenance system for the New Zealand market

• Travel across the North Island and throughout New Zealand

• Support customer objectives while maintaining a feedback loop with the Auckland headquarters

• Hands-on experience with tools, electrical work, construction, networking, or equipment installation

• A proactive mindset with a readiness to address challenges independently

• Resourcefulness and practical skills to manage a variety of tasks

• Capability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines

• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills

• Dedication to delivering high-quality service

• Willingness to travel spontaneously and on planned trips, including 3–4 days per week on the road and up to 3 nights away from home

• Valid, clean driver's license

• Eligibility to work in New Zealand

• Experience in agriculture is advantageous but not essential
