This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise and guide field service technicians and external subcontractors working across various commercial and public charging networks.

• Serve as the main point of contact for intricate electrical, mechanical, and software-related troubleshooting on AC, Rapid DC, and Ultra-Fast HPC units.

• Manage Routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to enhance charger uptime and grid reliability.

• Develop and track operational KPIs, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and reporting standards.

• Ensure that all field operations strictly adhere to BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and comprehensive Health & Safety protocols.

• Health and safety on-site is crucial, and inspections must ensure that operatives comply with H&S requirements, including conducting Quality of Work, Health and Safety & Behavioural Audits.

• Maintain robust relationships with Supplier Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Managers, and installation teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Electrical Certification: NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electro-Technical Engineering, in addition to the BS7671 18th Edition.

• Demonstrated experience in EV infrastructure, power electronics, or a commercial electro-technical domain.

• Inspection and testing certification 2391-52.

• Previous experience in leading field teams, scheduling, and ensuring site compliance.

• High-level diagnostic skills using multimeters and diagnostic software for firmware updates and testing.

• A valid UK driving license and willingness to undertake regional or national field travel.

• Proven history of working on projects involving the delivery of civil and electrical installations.

• Effective communicator capable of using appropriate written and verbal communication to engage a diverse audience across all Delivery stakeholders, particularly supplier field installation and engineering teams.
