• Execute installations, inspections, verification, and both corrective and preventive maintenance to guarantee the effective operation of CAS Affera systems.
• Maintain and provide technical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Share insights gained from field experiences with office colleagues and offer updates to the database.
• Contribute to service processes to foster ongoing improvement and development within the Field Service organization.
• Offer feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing regarding enhancements to Affera products.
• Engage in the creation and delivery of technical training for our distributors, partners, agents, and technically qualified representatives of the customer base.
• Assist in ensuring the seamless introduction of new products to customers by taking part in design improvement discussions.
• Investigate, analyze, and identify trends in technical data pertaining to Affera products.
• Take part in special projects as assigned by the US Field Service Manager or their delegate.
• Provide technical training to physicians, EP technicians, and department managers at customer locations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical, clinical field service, technical internship, or clinical customer support.
• Capability to apply engineering principles, including electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical, to troubleshoot without complete technical documentation.
• Proficiency in diagnosing medical equipment issues and troubleshooting problems.
• Strong English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional time management abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including potentially to international locations.
• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating self-motivation and independence without direct supervision.
• Extensive experience in direct, face-to-face customer interaction.
• Ability to collaborate closely with customers, address their concerns, and devise strategies to enhance their confidence and satisfaction with Affera products and services.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
