Field Services Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct installations, inspections, verification, and both corrective and preventive maintenance to guarantee the effective operation of CAS Affera systems.

• Maintain and provide technical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Share insights from field experiences with office colleagues and update the database accordingly.

• Contribute to service processes to promote ongoing enhancement and advancement of the Field Service organization.

• This encompasses the creation and upkeep of service documentation and procedures.

• Offer feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing regarding updates to Affera products.

• Engage in the development and implementation of technical training for our distributors, partners, agents, and technically qualified customer representatives.

• Assist in the seamless introduction of new products to customers by taking part in discussions on design improvements.

• Investigate, analyze, and identify trends in technical data related to Affera products.

• Take part in special projects as assigned by the US Field Service Manager or their representative.

• Provide technical training to physicians, EP technicians, and department managers at client sites.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Four years of experience in technical, clinical field service, technical internships, or clinical customer support.

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.

• Capability to apply engineering principles such as electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical concepts to troubleshooting in the absence of complete technical documentation.

• Proficient in troubleshooting issues and technically diagnosing medical equipment.

• Strong writing and verbal communication skills in English.

• Excellent time management abilities and attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel frequently, including potential international assignments.

• Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to operate without direct supervision.

• Significant direct customer interaction and engagement.

• Competence in closely collaborating with customers, addressing their concerns, and formulating plans to enhance their confidence and satisfaction with Affera products and services.
