Field Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain FWA, GWA, and FTTP network infrastructure.

• Deploy network equipment on streetlights, residential properties, and commercial premises.

• Install and align P2P links, wireless radio products, CAT5 cabling, routers, and switches.

• Conduct site audits and Line of Sight (LOS) checks to ensure optimal connectivity.

• Perform network testing and diagnostics to identify and resolve service-impacting faults.

• Upgrade and expand the wireless network infrastructure to enhance coverage and reliability.

• Address network faults and service disruptions, diagnosing and effectively resolving issues.

• Provide prompt technical support for network outages and collaborate with internal support teams to tackle complex issues.

• Execute new customer installations for wireless and FTTP networks as needed.

• Ensure all installations comply with company standards and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

• Conduct all work safely, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in network installation and troubleshooting, especially in FWA, GWA, and FTTP.

• Proficient in network diagnostics, P2P links, CAT5 cabling, and wireless radio products.

• Experience in configuring and deploying routers, switches, and network cabinets.

• Familiarity with service testing tools to evaluate signal strength and connection integrity.

• Basic understanding of IP networking and wireless network optimization.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Customer interaction and awareness.

• Awareness of health and safety practices.
