Field Service Technician – Turret Punch Press

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide support to customers with Amada Press Brakes, among other responsibilities.

• Responsibilities include installation, service, operational training, networking, programming training, software training, application training, and bending automation training.

• Skilled in diagnosing issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks.

• Capable of accurately following layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.

• Prepare daily status (service) reports and weekly expense reports.

• Maintain excellent customer relations and ensure thorough follow-through.

• Oversee the entire equipment installation process at customer sites, which may involve the use of hand tools, climbing, bending, and stooping.

• Facilitate operation, applications, software, and part programming, as well as customer training in these areas.

• Utilize Amada application software for line control and part programming.

• Engage in regular travel within designated territories.

⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year degree in Electronics is preferred, or a minimum of a two-year degree accompanied by relevant work experience.

• Capability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems.

• Proficient in using hand tools, volt/ohm meters, and oscilloscopes.

• Familiarity with computers and the Windows operating system.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

• Responsible for providing service and support to customers throughout their ownership of the machine.

• Proficient communication skills in English are required.

• Proficiency in Spanish (Mexican) is preferred.
