
Field Service Technician, Medical Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Arjo’s medical equipment at hospitals within the Seattle Metropolitan Area.
• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of electromechanical systems along with the necessary tools and processes to execute the work effectively.
• Maintain a daily emphasis on delivering high-quality equipment service while fostering customer relationships to create growth opportunities.
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at various customer locations (medical facilities).
• Provide technical diagnosis and cost estimates for repairs on customer-owned medical equipment.
• Support the Sales team in promoting company equipment through joint calls, in-services, sales leads, and setting up demos and trade shows.
• Enhance Service Contracts revenue by establishing new service contracts and renewing existing ones.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures as dictated by company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory bodies.
• Complete and submit accurate reporting as required.
• Manage spare parts inventory efficiently.
• Travel daily via driving and flying to customer sites (medical facilities), with expected overnight travel of 50-75%.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate’s Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field is preferred.
• Experience in repairing and maintaining electromechanical equipment is essential.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical assembly is necessary.
• Relevant training and/or certifications are preferred.
• Previous sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds is necessary.
