Field Service Technician – Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Commission and test various equipment.

• Conduct failure analysis procedures.

• Identify issues and offer technical solutions to clients.

• Provide expert guidance and support to customers.

• Troubleshoot installations of transformers and critical electrical systems.

• Collaborate with engineers, quality specialists, testing professionals, and fellow field technicians.

• Mentor and support junior technicians.

• Assist in commissioning projects at customer facilities.

• Ensure exceptional customer experiences.

• Travel extensively throughout North America and internationally to provide service to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in the industry.

• Proven experience in servicing transformers, switchgear, power distribution equipment, or industrial electrical systems.

• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, troubleshooting, and power systems.

• Familiarity with testing and measurement equipment.

• Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety protocols.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and project management capabilities.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including international travel with short notice.

• Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
