Field Service Technician III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Installs, tests, and repairs both new and reworked TechnipFMC products, including equipment and tools.

• Addresses customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints effectively.

• Offers sales support, ensuring customers are thoroughly informed about all job-related aspects.

• Completes Field Service Orders (FSO) and Field Spare Parts Tickets (FSPT), and is responsible for the timely submission of these and other revenue-generating documents.

• Ensures all quality issues and documentation related to equipment and procedural defects are communicated and reported back to Service Management.

• Finalizes field documentation after each service job is completed.

• Provides 'Project Support' as necessary, managing project issues as they arise to minimize downtime.

• Prepares and completes safety-related documentation, promoting safe work practices.

• Guides others in completing tasks in accordance with established procedures and relevant codes and/or standards.

• May act as the on-site supervisor for the field service crew and report back to Service Management.

• Assists in developing procedural requirements for both current and future jobs as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent technical diploma is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a field service technician role is necessary.

• Advanced knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electrical systems, subsea equipment, hydraulic systems, mechanical tools and equipment, and structural steel.

• Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings.

• Capable of performing moderately complex calculations.

• Ability to understand, troubleshoot, explain, and instruct others on the technical tools and instruments needed for the job.

• Familiarity with relevant theories, practices, and accepted internal business processes and procedures.
