Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Carry out customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and effective manner.

• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, such as ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Execute scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.

• Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.

• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity effectively.

• Organize and prioritize customer issues, addressing problems proactively whenever possible.

• Interact with customers in a transparent, helpful, and professional manner focused on achieving resolution.

• Engage in virtual and hands-on training programs offered by NCR Atleos.

• Adhere to NCR Atleos policies, which include Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and requirements for fleet and safe driving.

• May undertake additional related duties in alignment with qualifications and business requirements.

• May be reassigned to neighboring service territories during regular shifts to fulfill operational needs.

• May choose to participate in overnight travel assignments to enhance service coverage.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• One (1) or more years of relevant experience is required.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Must be at least 19 years of age.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a driving record that adheres to NCR Atleos fleet requirements.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiar with operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including extensive travel with several hours of driving each day.

• Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends.

• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Must be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements manipulating objects of various sizes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• Preferred: A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification.

• Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of screening criteria relevant to the position.
