This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide support for Retail Solutions products, services, and commissioning services for new installations, retrofits, and existing locations.
• Build, promote, and sustain strong relationships and communication with customers, colleagues, sales representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Engage with customers upon arrival and prior to departing from job sites.
• Conduct regular meetings with customers to identify operational challenges.
• Clarify the services rendered and outstanding concerns; suggest improvements, upgrades, or replacements.
• Encourage sales of additional work.
• Oversee assigned tasks to ensure professional, efficient execution and customer satisfaction.
• Aid in loading and commissioning system- and network-level controllers.
• Confirm complete system functionality and troubleshoot alongside subcontractors and other trades.
• Supply field-change information for as-built drawings and software documentation.
• Stay updated on safety bulletins and safety field-change notifications.
• Adhere to safety guidelines in a responsible manner.
• An Associate’s (AA) degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems, including commissioning and startup.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Authorized to work in Canada and travel to the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Willingness to undertake some overnight travel as necessary.
• Preferred: A two-year degree in electronics or mechanical systems.
• Preferred: Two years of experience in installing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
• Preferred: 313A Certification.
• Preferred: Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
