This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Participate in an extensive training program lasting approximately 3 months, encompassing both fieldwork and classroom instruction to equip you with the necessary skills and tools for success.
• After completing training, you will visit customer locations within your region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate some of the most advanced measuring instruments globally.
• Gain hands-on experience by learning new skills on high-tech CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines), utilizing both mechanical and electronic expertise.
• Keep records of service activities and ensure the maintenance of precise service documentation.
• Work autonomously while representing the company in a dynamic and innovative setting.
• At a minimum, must be a High School graduate, have completed a GED, or possess an equivalent qualification.
• A technical degree from a Tech School, associate, or bachelor’s degree in fields like Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or similar is preferred.
• Training and experience from a Military Technical School is advantageous.
• Previous experience using hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment is necessary.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems is required.
• Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
• Availability and willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours each week is essential.
• Ability to thrive in an industrial production shop floor environment is important.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
