This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Provide exceptional technical customer service and support.
• Oversee multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and controls-related technical issues with equipment, implementing effective solutions.
• Utilize remote access software to monitor the performance and effectiveness of equipment.
• Execute testing and commissioning of control systems, ensuring they are functional, reliable, and safe.
• Carry out modifications, upgrades, and routine maintenance on existing equipment to fulfill customer requirements.
• Deliver outstanding service to customers while collaborating professionally with fellow technical service and engineering teams.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance practices.
• Generate timely, precise, and detailed service reports.
• Understand customer needs and provide suitable recommendations and modifications as necessary.
• Coordinate field service appointments and customer troubleshooting inquiries using Salesforce – Field Service Lightning.
• Demonstrated experience and aptitude in field and technical service.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
• Willing to travel up to 70% of the time, primarily within the USA.
• Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Capability to effectively organize, schedule, and execute work tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of the safe use of hand tools and power equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of process and/or industrial automation.
• Mechanical aptitude and the capability to perform mechanical and physical tasks.
• Ability to assist customers during and after hours on a scheduled basis.
• Experience with brewing, food, and beverage processing equipment is a plus.
• Must be ambitious, adaptable, and enjoyable to work with.
• Highly organized, possessing strong time management skills and a solid work ethic.
• Technical curiosity is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Preferred 3 to 5 years of experience in installation, industrial maintenance, and troubleshooting of processing systems.
• An associate's or technical degree in engineering or a related field is required.
