This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee all facets of customer service and client care
• Proficiently diagnose and repair various high-speed cash-handling machinery
• Monitor and manage inventory of parts and tools
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in technical and functional aspects of GLORY equipment
• Currently pursuing or have completed professional training in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience
• Preferred certifications in relevant areas such as mechanics, electronics, automation, or data processing
• Strong customer service and communication abilities
• Proficient in using personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office, and navigating network sites and email
• Logical troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues at the PCB or component level
• Competent in interpreting electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings
• Understanding of AC/DC power distribution, as well as digital and analog circuitry
• Experience in repairing high-speed paper handling devices, including check sorters, mail sorters, and currency sorters; familiarity with ATMs or copiers is advantageous
• Preferred 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience, such as in aviation, medical equipment, vending machine repair, or military repair
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• While some knowledge of computers is necessary, the primary focus of this role is on electro-mechanical repair
• A company van will be provided, and you will travel from your home to customer sites daily; therefore, residing within a reasonable distance from the assigned area is essential
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, as well as frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist
• Must be willing to work at various customer locations, including financial institutions, casinos (gaming licensing may be required post-hire), truck stops, recreational parks, and retail stores
• Availability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotating basis to meet business needs is required
• Must be prepared for an on-call rotation, typically every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends; 24/7 availability may be necessary on rare occasions
• Ability to drive to customer sites during working hours is essential
• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air travel and overnight stays, may be required
• Capability to manage limited accessibility at job sites
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
