Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Execute commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of Vilter industrial refrigeration compressors and natural gas compressor equipment primarily in the United States, with opportunities for global assignments.

• Coordinate and support Copeland subcontractors in performing preventative maintenance and warranty services.

• Conduct technical troubleshooting and resolve issues for customers, with assistance from Copeland and Vilter Engineering, Parts, and Service teams.

• Engage in and deliver technical training for Copeland and Vilter products.

• Collaborate with and provide support to the Sales and Business Development teams whenever feasible.

• Take part in joint sales meetings alongside other Copeland team members as required.

• Establish yourself as a reliable advisor for customer technical queries.

⛳️ Requirements

• EPA 608 Universal Certification or an equivalent qualification is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on work/field experience.

• Familiarity with HVACR controls is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for creating service reports, scheduling meetings, and managing expense reports, among other tasks.

• Must be able to travel freely between the U.S. and Canada.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs. (31.8 kg) is necessary.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position.
