This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implements the established field service processes and protocols.
• Performs on-site installation, equipment start-up/commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Guarantees that all field service projects are completed within budget and on schedule to satisfy customer requirements.
• Maintains regular contact with other departments, fostering a positive and supportive environment that aligns with their planning and budget goals; ensures communication with customers and/or team members is conducted in a way that builds trust and facilitates efficient problem resolution.
• Safeguards the confidentiality of all information related to the Company’s operational practices, marketing, engineering, pricing and sales strategies, as well as customer and prospect databases.
• Efficiently allocates time and effectively tracks critical information, schedules, and deadlines.
• Complies with all safety policies and procedures as per the guidelines set by the Company/OSHA; actively promotes safety initiatives in alignment with the Company’s vision of “zero accidents”; maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly reports, along with any other general correspondence, are communicated accurately, concisely, and in a manner suitable for the target audience.
• Understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Assists the Engineering team by issuing project documents to customers, fabricators, and others.
• Engineering and/or Electronics degree or equivalent work experience or training.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Field Services Specialist and/or Technician.
• Experience with FRP and Welding is a plus.
• Valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation related to component and material specifications, as well as computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in applying significant knowledge of process instrumentation, including pressure, flow, and temperature transmitters, valve actuators, and the testing and calibration of these components.
• Solid knowledge of Field Service management tools and software.
• Extensive knowledge of continuous emissions monitoring equipment for measuring process source emissions.
• In-depth understanding of safe handling, storage, and operation of equipment that utilizes hazardous chemicals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of rotating equipment, including dampers, actuators, controls, and seal air fans.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including across state borders.
