This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Collaborate on-site with clients to pinpoint areas for operational enhancement and resolve issues.
• Carry out field service responsibilities, including diagnosing technical problems and performing certified on-site troubleshooting.
• Compile material lists for service tasks, ensuring that all materials, components, and equipment adhere to quality standards and are readily available.
• Implement installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, expansions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements.
• Foster and sustain positive relationships with customers to boost satisfaction.
• Recognize potential new sales opportunities while fulfilling customer needs and relay this information internally.
• Anticipate potential equipment malfunctions and propose corrective measures.
• Recommend product and quality enhancements.
• Provide management with insights on improving operations and customer service.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold safe work and environmental practices.
• Quickly report unsafe practices and incidents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with a minimum of 1 year of experience servicing critical power equipment, OR an Associate's Degree in electrical technology with at least 3 years of experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of equivalent work or military experience in servicing critical power equipment.
• High-level proficiency in interacting and communicating (both written and verbal) with various organizational tiers.
• Advanced skill in utilizing Microsoft Office products.
• Moderate ability to manage projects using MS Project or Excel.
• Advanced capability to draft test plans and reports detailing test outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines on administrative tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Possesses a sense of urgency and ownership, ensuring tasks are completed!
• Candidates must already possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
