Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Perform service tasks according to work instructions, adhering to ABB's quality and safety standards.

• Provide exceptional customer service by planning and executing service tasks in alignment with customer orders and expectations.

• Demonstrate expertise by ensuring customer loyalty through clear communication regarding service timelines and expectations.

• Collaborate with customers on-site to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing their operations and alleviating challenges.

• Conduct field service tasks, diagnose technical issues, and perform analyses through remote or on-site activities within certified service categories and products.

• Compile material lists required for service activities, ensuring that all necessary materials, parts, and equipment are available and meet quality standards.

• Serve as a trainer when necessary for field service associates and customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical preventative maintenance, installation, and repair, with a background as a licensed field service technician.

• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to the electrical trade.

• Strong knowledge and experience in conduit bending (EMT), consistently delivering quality work.

• Experience with infrared windows is preferred.

• Possession of a valid Journeyman Electrician’s License.

• Familiarity with current NEC codes.

• Knowledge and experience working around 480V commercial switchboards.

• Industrial experience is a plus.
