Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide outstanding customer experiences while servicing products within the home.

• Travel to customers' locations to conduct maintenance and repair of LG equipment, ensuring optimal product performance.

• Utilize all safety equipment (PPE), along with the vehicle and diagnostic tools supplied by LG, appropriately.

• Execute technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on various electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate the severity of the problem, document observations, and make informed decisions on whether to repair the product or replace parts.

• Timely and accurately process paperwork and carry out data entry upon job completion.

• Pre-screen service calls for the next day by gathering essential information to aid in diagnosing the problem before arriving at the customer's residence.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics related to customer satisfaction, first-time fix rate, revisits, parts management, and overtime percentage.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably in Field Service.

• Proficient in repairing major appliances, including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.

• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capacity to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues effectively.

• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Meet the physical demands typical of field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
