
Field Service Technician, Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance and repairs on LG's equipment, ensuring optimal product performance.
• Utilize all safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by LG appropriately.
• Perform technical diagnostics and specialized repairs on various electronics and home appliances.
• Identify problems, evaluate their severity, document findings, and make informed decisions regarding repairs and parts replacements.
• Efficiently process paperwork and enter data accurately upon the completion of each job.
• Pre-screen service calls for the following day by gathering necessary information to assist in diagnosing issues before visiting customers' homes.
• Achieve or surpass company metrics related to customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentages.
• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably in Field Service.
• Experience in repairing major appliances, including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.
• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic testing equipment.
• Capability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues effectively.
• A valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.
• Fulfill physical requirements typically associated with field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
