Field Service Supervisor – On Site Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute installations and initial start-ups.

• Conduct mechanical tasks in electrical substations.

• Examine equipment, structures, and materials at specified locations to diagnose errors or issues, and assess outcomes to determine the optimal solutions for customer concerns.

• Engage in physical activities that necessitate significant dexterity and agility.

• Provide support to GE Factory Production and other GE Departments as required.

• Oversee and instruct contractors and customer personnel.

• Complete necessary documentation promptly and accurately, including Field Service Reports, EHS reports, timecards, and expense reports.

• Act as the liaison between GE and the customer on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or a closely related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high voltage equipment (preference will be given to field experience).

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
