This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute installation and initial start-up procedures.

• Conduct mechanical tasks within electrical substations.

• Assess equipment, structures, and materials at specified locations to determine the root cause of errors or defects, and evaluate outcomes to select the most effective solutions for customer issues.

• Engage in physical activities that demand significant dexterity and agility.

• Provide support to GE Factory Production and other GE departments as required.

• Oversee and guide contractors and customer personnel.

• Complete documentation promptly and accurately, including Field Service Reports, EHS reports, timecards, and expense reports.

• Serve as the liaison between GE and the customer on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or a closely related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of high-voltage equipment (preference will be given to field experience).

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time, both domestically and internationally.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
