This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the daily operations of a team of Service Engineers, which includes managing the on-call schedule and timesheets.
• Serve as the supervisor for on-call phone responses within the regions.
• Provide leadership, support, coaching, and development for your team, including technical guidance and training.
• Step in for the Regional Operations Manager – Service during their absence.
• Regularly review operational reports and performance metrics, utilizing insights to enhance productivity, first-fix rates, quality, stock management, and attendance.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys as necessary.
• Act as the Safety, Health, and Environmental representative for your team in the field, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Display a thorough understanding of all core company products, including their repair and functionality.
• Be prepared to work outside of standard geographical limits when necessary, showing flexibility to meet customer needs.
• Deliver high-quality repair and maintenance services.
• Assist team members with repairs and maintain existing equipment and systems across the entire product range.
• Aid in the installation of assisted living systems (Telecare/Telehealth).
• Provide technical support to team members and customers as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork, reports, and documentation.
• Submit weekly activity reports in accordance with company standards.
• Address customer issues promptly and effectively, following the guidance of the Operations Manager – Service.
• Foster strong customer relationships to aid in contract retention.
• Attend client meetings when necessary to understand their needs and strengthen partnerships.
• Identify factors affecting customer satisfaction and contribute to the development of solutions.
• Discover and cultivate revenue growth opportunities and cost-saving initiatives within the customer base.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and principles.
• Proven experience working with vulnerable populations.
• Strong communicator with a track record of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and training others.
• A valid driving license.
