This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the operational readiness efforts for the launch of new sites, which includes tracking budgets, planning resource deployment, conducting readiness assessments, and generating status reports.
• Track expenses related to startup and deployment, and provide comprehensive reporting, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate the onboarding of technicians and coordinate field-based training in collaboration with Learning & Development and operational leadership.
• Take part in technician interviews, offering technical evaluations and hiring recommendations.
• Assess technical skills during the onboarding process and offer constructive feedback and readiness assessments.
• Provide counsel to Operations Managers and Regional Service Managers regarding workforce readiness, identifying technical capability gaps, suggesting process enhancements, and improving operational efficiencies.
• Offer on-site technical guidance during facility startups, address operational interruptions, and manage critical staffing requirements.
• Act as the escalation point for intricate equipment, system, and operational challenges.
• Provide practical coaching, technical training, and developmental feedback to field technicians.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to evaluate workforce readiness, prioritize field support deployments, and enhance service delivery.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships through expert technical assistance.
• Contribute to the Kenco Operating System by participating in continuous improvement efforts, operational audits, investigations, and initiatives aimed at enhancing safety and performance.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in servicing, maintaining, or working in a related technical field involving material handling equipment.
• 2-4 years of experience in a supervisory or lead technician role is required.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and/or automated systems.
• Demonstrated capability to train and mentor individuals in technical settings.
• Strong familiarity with business systems and technology platforms.
• Prior experience as a trainer or lead technician is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is necessary.
• Ability to set up an iPad.
• Certification as a forklift operator trainer is required.
• Expected travel commitment of approximately 50%-75%.
• Willingness to deploy on short notice as per business requirements.
