This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implements established processes and procedures for field services.
• Performs on-site installations, equipment start-ups, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Guarantees that all field service projects are completed within budget and on schedule to satisfy customer requirements.
• Maintains proactive, positive, and supportive communication with other departments to assist in planning and budget goals.
• Engages with customers and team members in a manner that fosters trust and promotes effective problem-solving.
• Upholds the confidentiality of all information related to the Company’s operational practices, marketing strategies, engineering, pricing, sales strategies, customer and prospect lists, and financial performance.
• Efficiently allocates time while monitoring critical information, schedules, and deadlines.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures in alignment with Company and OSHA guidelines; actively supports safety initiatives to achieve the Company’s vision of “zero accidents.”
• Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly reports and general correspondence are communicated accurately, concisely, and appropriately for the intended audience.
• Understands and adheres to all Company policies and procedures, along with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Field Services Specialist and/or Technician.
• Background in engineering and/or electronics, or equivalent experience, training, or education; a degree is preferred.
• Valid in-state driver's license; driving record must comply with acceptable Company standards and be maintained for operating a vehicle on Company business.
• Capability to read and interpret technical documentation, including component and material specifications, computer-aided design (CAD) drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in uploading/downloading and making minor modifications to PLC/HMI programming as necessary, primarily with Allen Bradley systems.
• Familiarity with business-related software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of process instrumentation, including pressure, flow, and temperature transmitters, valve actuators, and the testing and calibration of these components.
• In-depth understanding of Field Service management tools and software.
• Significant knowledge of continuous emissions monitoring equipment for measuring process source emissions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the safe handling, storage, and operation of equipment utilizing hazardous chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, including dampers, actuators, controls, and seal air fans.
