Field Service Engineer – Romania

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks on laboratory equipment and systems.

• Detect and analyze technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and execute necessary repairs.

• Install and set up new equipment, providing training to laboratory staff on its correct usage and operation.

• Offer technical support and guidance to customers.

• Maintain accurate records of all performed work, including service reports and technical documentation.

• Oversee the procurement, replacement, and inventory management of spare parts.

• Ensure that equipment complies with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Assist the sales team by attending national trade shows and conferences, and collaborate closely with sales colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reside in the Bucharest region.

• Have completed training in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or a similar technical field.

• Demonstrated experience in the maintenance and repair of laboratory diagnostic equipment, preferably in the medical technology or laboratory sector.

• Strong technical skills with the capacity to quickly grasp and troubleshoot complex systems.

• A self-driven, solution-oriented mindset and a high level of personal initiative.

• Exceptional communication abilities, both in client interactions and team collaborations.

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Romania and adaptability to support various customer locations as needed.
