Field Service Engineer – Metal Recycling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation sites.

• Ensuring optimal performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field.

• Providing outstanding customer experiences through effective communication and support.

• Enhancing sorting systems/processes by conducting sampling and testing.

• Identifying opportunities to add value to our clients' businesses by introducing complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.

• Serving as a bridge between our clients and Headquarters—gathering and relaying market feedback to continuously seek new opportunities for our customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed secondary technical education (FP2) or higher, specializing in electrician/electronics, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Residing within approximately a 200 km radius of the Brescia area.

• Willingness to travel 80% of the time or more.

• Experience in an industrial setting, particularly in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance, is highly advantageous.

• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and x-ray technology.

• Proficient in computer applications, PC configuration, and network structures.

• Strong communication skills when interacting with clients.

• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.

• A valid full driving license is mandatory.

• Familiarity with the metal scrap industry and recycling processes is a plus.
