This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and repairs on designated equipment.
• Execute installation, validation, and maintenance on assigned machinery.
• Mentor and guide less experienced Field Engineers; offer coaching and constructive feedback.
• Take charge of customer communications and act as the escalation point for customer-related issues, including installations.
• Manage customer issues from the initial dispatch or identification through to resolution.
• Proactively update team members on the status of issues for specific customers.
• Lead and communicate initiatives at the HQ and Zone or Area levels.
• Co-facilitate regular team or modality meetings as necessary.
• Collaborate with customers and suggest value-added services.
• Maintain logs of customer service and internal service records; order repair parts and oversee cycle times.
• Utilize the GEHC escalation process and coordinate with regional and national support on corrective action strategies.
• Collaborate with teammates, colleagues, commercial counterparts, and regional/zone leadership.
• Function as a member and leader within the account community for assigned key accounts.
• Spot potential sales leads and engage in sales opportunities such as contract renewals.
• Advocate for and implement revenue-generating programs.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Assist the Area Service Manager or Director of Service with strategies for growth and deployment.
• Provide application training to clinical or scientific personnel on specific equipment when needed.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field along with 4+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment; OR equivalent military training and 4+ years of experience in servicing electrical equipment; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
• Proven experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers in a solution-focused service process.
• Experienced in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and addressing customer concerns.
• Familiarity with web applications and Microsoft Suite products.
• Must meet GEHC's standard background check requirements, including a post-offer drug screening.
• Must adhere to customer access policies, which may include required immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks when applicable.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Must frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, and kneel/crawl.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
