Field Service Engineer, III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

• Deliver expert installation, maintenance, and repair services for advanced analytical and microscopy equipment.

• Provide exceptional technical support while cultivating strong relationships with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating advanced analytical instruments.

• Preferred Fields of Study: Electronics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.

• Continuous technical training and certification are mandatory.

• Proven proficiency with ultra-high vacuum systems, high-voltage electronics, and intricate electro-mechanical systems.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software challenges.

• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities and a track record of fostering positive customer relationships.

• Professional working proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Capability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and engineering blueprints.

• Proficient in Windows operating systems, networking, and standard business software applications.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory settings.

• Experience in mentoring and training others is preferred.

• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong collaboration within the team.

• Availability to address urgent customer requests.

• Must adhere to all safety protocols and be able to work in cleanroom environments as needed.
