This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Play a key role in providing outstanding service for advanced analytical and scientific instruments.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair intricate equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service experiences.
• Collaborate with clients in research, industrial, and healthcare environments.
• Work alongside global teams and cutting-edge technology to promote scientific progress.
• Advanced Degree with no prior experience necessary, or a Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of hands-on technical experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex analytical instruments.
• Preferred areas of study include Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Additional relevant certifications are considered a plus.
• Strong skills in electronics and mechanical troubleshooting with the ability to diagnose issues down to the component level.
• Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and service management software.
• Capability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50-75% within the assigned territory.
• Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in various laboratory settings.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Ability to respond to customer needs on short notice.
• Capacity to effectively train and support customers in equipment operation.
• Experience in documenting service activities and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Proven track record in achieving customer satisfaction goals.
