This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Deliver exceptional customer support through on-site installations.
• Supervise the diagnosis, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of intricate equipment and systems.
• Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Act as the company representative for customers on both administrative and technical issues related to assigned projects.
• Collaborate with customers to comprehend their analytical workflows and customize service offerings accordingly.
• Manage assigned assets, which include tools, telecommunication devices, and inventory of service parts.
• Improve product quality by actively identifying and reporting opportunities for enhancement.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, including military experience, plus 3 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair; OR an Associate Degree in the same fields with military experience and 5 years of direct experience; OR a High School Diploma with over 7 years of direct laboratory equipment repair experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory settings, and/or instrument control software.
• Certification from a vendor on pertinent laboratory equipment.
• Understanding of laboratory safety protocols as dictated by the Company and/or the customer’s site safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel by air, vehicle, and/or other transportation means as business needs dictate, with travel typically up to 50% of the time depending on territory and customer base requirements.
