Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Execute installations, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on designated instruments to guarantee optimal functionality and adherence to quality standards.

• Identify technical issues across various intricate instruments, accurately document solutions, and finalize service calls within specified timeframes.

• Address customer concerns from initiation to resolution or escalation, provide exceptional service, and cultivate strong relationships through proactive communication.

• Organize and prioritize service appointments, maintain precise inventory records, and support on-call rotations, after-hours coverage, and travel for training or critical account assistance.

• Adhere to all regulatory, quality system, and laboratory safety protocols during service operations; keep precise documentation for auditing purposes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and offer guidance to other Field Service Representatives to enhance team capabilities.

• Achieve targets for service sales, service costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assigned accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2-5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 50% within the designated territory.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to laboratory instrumentation.

• Capability to work independently and excel in team settings.

• Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) and remote computing tools (VPN, remote troubleshooting).
