
Field Service Engineer – FIELD REMOTE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Offer guidance and support to junior engineers for their skill enhancement.
• Conduct on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of intricate equipment and systems.
• Educate customers on the operation and upkeep of the system.
• Act as the company's representative for customers regarding administrative and technical issues for designated projects.
• Collaborate with customers to grasp their analytical workflows and customize service offerings, including training, support, and upgrades.
• Improve account profitability through effective service delivery and by identifying revenue-generating opportunities such as billable work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, including military experience, plus 3 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair.
• OR an Associate’s degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline, including military experience, plus 5 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair.
• OR a High School Diploma combined with over 7 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel and stay overnight as required.
• Thorough understanding of analytical equipment, laboratory environments, and/or instrument control software.
• Certification from vendors on relevant laboratory equipment.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols as outlined by the Company and/or the customer's site safety regulations.
