Field Service Engineer – EIMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver installation, repair, and maintenance assistance for Accuray systems.

• Support is provided to customers remotely via phone, internet, and through on-site visits.

• Foster the highest level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to customer inquiries, maintaining clear and effective communication, presenting a professional appearance, and executing repairs and maintenance efficiently.

• Manage your own schedule and work priorities to ensure urgent customer needs are addressed promptly and customer satisfaction is maximized.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all work activities.

• Ensure proper care of parts inventory and timely return of any replaced components.

• Manage and complete Timesheets and expense reports related to the field service of Accuray systems in a timely manner.

• Contribute to the creation of service documentation.

• Aid in training additional Customer Support staff and customer personnel on-site.

• Assist in the identification and development of tools and equipment for Field Support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in field support, engineering, or manufacturing with high technology electrical/electronic products.

• Practical experience with electronic testing equipment.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in hardware and software skills, including networking knowledge and the use of standard office software such as spreadsheets, word processing, and email applications.

• Quick to learn new software tools.

• Experience with basic administration of Windows-based computer hardware, software, and networking is a plus.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both the local language and English.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relations skills with a strong customer service focus.

• Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a close-knit team environment.

• Must be willing to travel extensively (50% travel time), sometimes on short notice, and be available for occasional after-hours support.
