Field Service Engineer – Atomic Spectroscopy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Deliver on-site customer assistance for the installation, execution, upkeep, and repair of both company and multi-vendor systems.

• Set up, configure, and enhance system components at client locations.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee system reliability and reduce downtime.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing guidance on system configurations, preventive maintenance approaches, and performance enhancement strategies.

• Implement fully integrated solutions as designed.

• Act as a technical resource within the organization by managing escalations and collaborating with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams.

• Offer technical training, workshops, and knowledge transfer to field engineers and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related area.

• Strong knowledge in atomic spectroscopy / ICP-MS or similar techniques, or an equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Flexibility and willingness to provide on-site customer support as needed.

• Experience in a laboratory setting or with Agilent products is considered a plus.

• High proficiency in German and English; knowledge of French is an asset.
