Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations, including CNG compressors, valve panels, dispensers, and communication panels.

• Execute warranty repairs and provide service support.

• Offer phone assistance and respond to inquiries via service-related emails.

• Oversee electrical and mechanical testing, field service, repairs, retrofits, and tackle complex problem-solving through root cause analysis.

• Operate both on-site and in an on-call capacity, specializing in proprietary products.

• Educate customers on maintenance and troubleshooting as the subject matter expert.

• Conduct equipment trial runs.

• Advocate for and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Accurately prepare detailed documentation in a timely manner.

• Analyze test outcomes and communicate findings.

• Carry out weights and measures testing.

• Operate ANGI proprietary Series II and C-Scape software.

• Interpret and analyze prints/drawings according to specifications.

• Utilize AX Dynamics to check parts and inventory records.

• Travel across North America as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree from a college or technical institution; or a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and PLC skills.

• Ariel training.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Capability to commission, test, and operate CNG compressors, dispensers, dryers, MSPs, and all types of panels.

• Competence in using technical gauges, including digital thermometers, vibration analyzers, and Fluke meters.

• Ability to ensure safe and timely testing and startup of equipment.

• Capacity to operate both on-site and on-call.

• Skill in reading and interpreting prints/drawings per specifications.

• Proficiency in running ANGI proprietary Series II and C-Scape software.

• Experience with AX Dynamics for parts lookup and inventory logs.
